ANALYSIS
Training under former Brazilian Top Team and Chute Boxe coach Sergio Cunha, Travis Reddinger is a hardworking prospect currently competing in the bantamweight division. Reddinger is a hapkido black belt who’s known for his aggressive style and competent submission game, as well as for his time in Bellator FC where he participated in the promotion’s season three bantamweight tournament.
Reddinger is a 5’10” bantamweight who’s equipped with excellent reach for the weight division. An aggressive striker, Reddinger does look to press the action standing. He aggressively works his kicks and punches, possesses good conditioning, and certainly isn’t hesitant about engaging on the feet.
Although Reddinger isn’t an elite wrestler, he has shown the ability to take the fight to the ground by aggressively pursuing his opponent and pushing hard for body lock takedowns and trips. Reddinger will need to continue working on his wrestling and takedown defense, although he has shown the ability to fighting comfortably on the ground. He looks to land big punches and elbows from top position on the ground, and shows good composure and defensive skills off his back. Reddinger will work a high guard, effectively use his legs in working for triangles, armbars and sweeps, and rolls for leg locks.
