ANALYSIS
Ronnie Mann is a featherweight prospect and veteran of the Cage Rage, Cage Gladiators and Sengoku promotions. Mann began his martial arts training with muay thai at the age of eleven, before moving on to BJJ and kickboxing shortly thereafter. Starting his pro career at the age of seventeen, Mann is a former Cage Gladiators Featherweight Champion and Sengoku Featherweight Grand Prix Participant. Mann currently trains out of Cheltenham, England where he competes as a member of Team Trojan.

Mann is a quick athlete who shows composed, technically sound skills on his feet. Although he hasn't shown significant power on his feet, Mann is a smart striker who possesses solid footwork and defensive skills. He delivers a quick straight right, a good counter right cross and is armed with nicely executed right high kicks. Mann uses his quickness and footwork intelligently, and does a good job of maintaining distance standing. He uses his reach and kicks well from the outside, and will look to control the pace of the action standing. Overall, while Mann's standup game isn't overwhelming in any sense, he's proven to be a composed, technical fighter who appears to be developing into a competent, tactical striker on his feet.

Mann's wrestling abilities have continued to improve as he's progressed in his career. He's shown a good sprawl, the awareness to try and take the fight to the mat and nice takedown skills from in close. Mann will look to work his ground and pound from top position, and has shown the proficiency to look to pass and attempt to take advantage of grappling opportunities on the ground. He's particularly good at using his fists to secure back mount where he'll look to control his opponent and work his submissions. Overall, Mann possesses good transitions, a competent submission game and solid skills from the top. Off his back, Mann's displayed good defensive guard skills and good composure. Mann works diligently for sweeps and submissions, and is competent enough off his back that he can stay out of trouble. A sneaky submission grappler, Mann is capable of finishing from any position on the ground. Much like his standup, while Mann hasn't shown elite level ability on the mat, he has shown technical proficiency and a solid submission game, with room still for further growth and improvement.
OUTLOOK
Ronnie Mann has shown versatility throughout his MMA game and although he may not excel in any one area of the game, he's proven to be a proficient all-around fighter. Mann makes few mistakes, is capable of remaining competitive anywhere, and has gained considerable experience without putting too many miles on his body. Young, experience, talented and technical, if Mann continues adding to his arsenal he should continue developing into a top ten featherweight.
