Fighting out of Germany, Nick Hein is a middleweight MMA prospect. He comes from a judo base and has garnered several accomplishments including two German Championships, and an under-23 European crown before retiring from that sport and committing himself 100% to his fighting career. A powerful, compact grappler, Hein is dangerous in the clinch. He shows strong takedowns from in close as well as good doubles, singles, and outside leg trips. Hein utilizes an aggressive ground and pound game and good submissions on the mat.

Hein is comfortable standing and trading punches in the middle. He stands southpaw and will look to load up with his left hand. Often times he will get wild with his punching and disregard his defensive responsibilities. Hein will need to work on his technical game and clean up his striking.
