Magomed Saadulaev is a promising Peresvet FT fighter and veteran of Pro FC. He's a two time "Champion of the World" Pankration winner who shows good wrestling and certainly favours the ground game. Given Saadulaev's diminutive stature, his long-term future likely isn't at 170 pounds although he has enjoyed success in that division to begin his career.

Saadulaev is a patient striker who is very quick on his feet. Standing only 5'5" tall, he does give up a considerable reach advantage to his opponents. However, he does use his speed effectively in attempting to keep out of his opponents range. Saadulaev throws quick leg kicks and has a nice overand right. He looks to counter punch, and primarily utilizes his striking to close the distance, get inside his opponents range and work for his takedowns. Saadulaev is naturally predisposed to the ground game and does make every effort to take the fight there. As he moves forward in his career he will need to continue working on his clinch striking and overall standup game.

Saadulaev shows patience throughout his game and does a good job of waiting for openings before attempting a takedown. He uses his striking to set up his takedown attempts and displays strong wrestling abilities and a quick shot. Saadulaev possesses a very competent takedown game consisting of effective single and double legs, as well as composed top game on the ground. He demonstrates excellent ground control and quick transitions, as he works hard to pass and improve his positioning. He's particularly fond of going to side control where he looks to pin his opponents arm down and look for openings. Strong and compact, Saadulaev has proven to be a tough competitor who is difficult to "catch" on the mat. Although Saadulaev isn't an overpowering ground and pound artist, he does show good speed and precision in his punching. Defensively composed off his back, Saadulaev possesses solid submission awareness and a good overall grappling game that should continue to improve.
