Justin Edwards is a welterweight prospect and Bellator veteran who currently fights out of Team Iron Tiger. Known for his aggressive, exciting style of fighting, Edwards’ resume includes a win over Josh Rafferty and a four-man one-night IFC tournament championship in early 2010.

Edwards is a very offense-oriented fighter who attempts to finish his opponent from beginning to end. His grappling arsenal consists of a developing submission game including a power guillotine and an ultra aggressive ground and pound strategy. Edwards looks to overwhelm opponents from the top by actively utilizing punches, elbows and forearm strikes. As a very aggressive fighter, Edwards often leaves himself susceptible to the takedown and will need to continue working on his wrestling and takedown defense. Although Edwards will need to continue working on the technical aspects of his game, he has proven to be a durable fighter who is consistently working for sweep attempts and submissions fighting off his back.

A hardnosed - albeit very green striker, Edwards is tough, rugged and extremely aggressive standing. He shows no hesitation in going after his opponent, letting his punches and kicks go as the opportunities arise. Edwards utilizes wild haymakers and shows good power, although he does have a tendency to leave himself wide open defensively. Edwards will need to continue working on the technical aspects of his striking game.
