Guram Gugenishvili is a Ukrainian heavyweight prospect. He is a multiple time M-1 competitor who shows good natural tools, and holds intriguing potential given his size and agility. Still raw, Gugenishvili will need to continue working on cardio and technical skills, although his raw talent is very prevalent when watching him compete.

Gugenishvili is a grappler first and foremost, and it's evident in his approach. A good wrestler, Gugenishvili makes a concerted attempt to try and secure the takedown every chance he gets. He shows a nice shot, and works both his singles and doubles effectively. In spite of his size, Gugenishvili is surprisingly quick and agile on the mat. He displays good positional awareness, and is great at immediately trying to take advantage of those opportunities on the mat. Although he is patient and controlled, Gugenishvili also capable of utilizing his striking well on the mat. Gugenishvili looks to land big, straight punches from the top where he also shows good transitions. Offensively, Gugenishvili's equipped with a competent submission game although he will need to work on his awareness defensively. Gugenishvili's also proven much more effective at working from top position, having had his guard passed and looking lost at times fighting off his back.

Standing, Gugenishvili looks to avoid engaging and his overall striking arsenal is very untested. He will need to continue putting work into his striking and overall standup skills.
