Training out of Nx Gen Vale Tudo, Eddie Ng is an aspiring UK fighter currently competing on the British MMA circuit. Although he has not fought very frequently over his first three years as a pro, Ng has fought respectable competition through his first three professional fights. He already holds solid wins over Cage Rage veteran Lee Doski and Cage Gladiators and Cage Warrior vet Jason Ball, both of whom he finished inside the first round of their respective bouts.

Ng will come out and trade on his feet, but has been dropped and hurt in previous bouts and is still developing his standup game. He has looked progressively better in his early career and is definitely not afraid to engage as he proved in his bout with Joakim Engberg, when he was more than willing to stand and trade with the Swedish K-1 and M-1 fight veteran. Ng likes using his kicks on his feet, and in particular possesses heavy leg kicks while also coming up high to throw the head kick on occasion. Ng has also shown potential from in close, making good use of his knees to his opponents' body from in the clinch. Early in his career, Ng is still very green on his feet and will need to continue working on his technical standup game and defensive striking abilities.

On the ground Ng has shown quick hips, an active guard and good submission awareness early in his career. His jiu jitsu game is likely the most promising aspect of his MMA game and given how early he is in his career there is reason to be optimistic about the potential in his BJJ abilities. From top position Ng has displayed a "controlled" ground and pound game. Although he isn't an overpowering ground and pound artist, he picks his spots well, stays active and makes good use of his punches and elbows from top position. Ng will need to work on his takedowns and can be taken down quite easily himself, and will need to really focus on his wrestling going forward. He's also encountered difficulties while defending against strikes when fighting off his back and will need to work on his defensive guard game.
