A WEC veteran, Brandon Visher is a strong, fast athlete who's well known on the Hawaiian fight scene. Early in his career he made name known with his striking, and the raw power he possesses is very evident throughout his MMA arsenal.

Visher does possess a boxing background which shows, as he shows a definite preference towards keeping the fight standing. A "power" striker, Visher does display good speed and quickness in his striking but his biggest weapon lies in his heavy handedness and incredible punching power. Visher's equipped with absolute dynamite in his hands, and poses a very real threat whenever the fight is kept standing. He throws a quick jab, a good cross, a big overhand right and a powerful left hook. Visher also mixes in a nice assortment of heavy leg kicks, and is able to work the body with thunderous punches. A strong counter puncher, Visher's armed with a powerful counter cross and hook and he's also capable of opening up with big punches from in close. Although Visher is aggressive, his usual method of attack is to keep patient and slowly get accustomed to his opponents' timing before rushing in and going on the offensive. There are times where he'll stand straight up and try to block the opposition's striking instead of looking to avoid the exchange altogether. He really likes exploding with his counter punching and is willing to take a punch to get the opportunity to do so, but he will need to work polishing off his defensive game. Nevertheless, Visher has shown a lot of promise in his standup and he holds very intriguing power potential in his striking game.

Visher does have a wrestling background from his time at King Kekaulike High School, and the raw power he possesses is evident in his takedowns. He's also shows good takedown defense, and although he isn't known for his wrestling abilities he is a competent athlete in the department. Visher's power needs to be respected in all areas of his game, and he is capable of delivering big brutal punches, hammer fists and elbows from top position. He is however much more comfortable keeping the fight standing and will need to continue working on his guard and ground game. He's not very active off his back, and will need to work on tightening up his jiu jitsu and technical skills on the mat. A strong athlete, if Visher is able to compliment his striking with a competitive ground game, he'll have a chance to flourish in the featherweight division.
