Werdum Submits Fedor

The impossible has been accomplished! For the first time in nearly 10 years Fedor Emelianenko has legitimately been beaten in stunning fashion by BJJ World Champion Fabricio Werdum. As many has anticipated the fight did not make it out of the first round, however it wasn’t the Fedor KO everyone thought it would be, Werdum who was caught early with an overhand right weathered the flurry and managed to tap-out the legendary Russian with a devastating armbar.  The result of this fight has sent the MMA world into tailspin, and many are wondering if this finally paves a way for Emelienko to sign with the UFC.
