STRENGTHS
Terry comes from a strong amateur wrestling background having competed at both the high school and collegiate levels, and shows a capable double leg takedown to get the fight to the floor. He has a good top control presence where he works a persistent ground and pound attack. Although his background is in wrestling, Terry’s embraced the standup and developed steadily as a striker. He utilizes an “in and out” style, making use of his footwork, angles, and leg kicks effectively. Terry does possess knockout power - particularly in a dangerous overhand right, and does an admirable job of setting up his power shots instead of winging them recklessly. He also shows good head movement and counter striking abilities, while doing a commendable job of mixing up his strikes in both type and location. Terry has shown excellent stamina and conditioning in the early parts of his career.
