Ferreira is an aggressive fighter who pushes the action and looks for the finish. He comes from a fantastic grappling background which has transitioned over well to MMA. He has world class credentials in submission wrestling as well as black belts in both Luta Livre and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Ferreira has competed, and placed highly, in the most prestigious submission wrestling tournaments in the world including the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championships. Compact and powerful, he shows strong takedowns and quick transitioning from the top. He’s an aggressive grappler armed with excellent submissions awareness and technical proficiency. Diverse, Ferreira attacks the legs, arms and neck with his subs and has proven very comfortable fighting off his back - often pulling guard to get the fight to the mat.

Ferreira is very one dimensional in his skills and will need to put a lot of work into his standup.
