1. Gerald Harris (19-4)
“Hurricane” was 4-1 in the UFC before they cut him for unexplained reasons, many fans are still upset about the decision. Gerald since has signed to DREAM and was successful in his debut against “Kaz” Nakamura at DREAM 17 in Japan. His next fight is at Legacy Fighting Championships on Feb 24th live on HDNET. Gerald has some of the best Slams in the business and ZUFFA needs to bring him to Strikeforce.

2. Dan Hardy (23-10)
“The Outlaw” is currently on a four fight losing streak in the UFC and is a big fan favorite in England and in the United States. He puts on great fights and has wars and that's the reason the UFC has not cut him. He has faced top guys in UFC and I think that he could come over to Strikeforce and be a great addition to the welterweight division. The Strikeforce welterweight division currently has notable fighters like Tyron Woodley, Jason High, and Paul Daley but the division is still very weak and the the match ups are limited.

3. Chris Leben (22-8)
”The Crippler” has been with the UFC since 2005 and has the most knockouts in the UFC middleweight division than any other fighter fighter. Throughout his years as a fighter he has had struggles in his personal life and ZUFFA has always stuck by him and I think that he could be very successful in Strikeforce.

4. Kendall Grove (13-9)
“Da Spyder” who currently fights in Pro Elite and recently got his revenge on Joe Riggs and submitted him in just 59 seconds in the very first round. Next he fights Minowaman and if he is successful in that fight ZUFFA should welcome him back under the Strikeforce banner.

5. Jake Rosholt (12-3)
Jake Rosholt has had an excellent run since the UFC let him go. He has fought and been successful at regional shows raking up a 6-1 record and proving that he belongs back in the one of the top organizations in the world.

6. Nate Marquardt (31-10-2)
“The King of Pancrase” has been one of the top fighters in the UFC and was actually one of the organizations top fighters before the whole “ Testosterone” thing happened. He has been signed to fight in BAMMA, the Britsh Association of Mixed Martial Arts but lets be honest there's not that much competition other than Tom “Kong” Watson in BAMMA. If Strikeforce were to sign Nate that would be a great fight for Luke Rockhold.

7. Kenny Florian (14-6)
“Kenflo” is by far one of the top guys in the world in MMA, He has beat tough competition in the Welterweight, Lightweight, and featherweight divisions but its a fact that when he fights for the Championship he loses. The fans are ready for Gilbert Melendez to have some of the top guys in the UFC come over and challenge him since he is a Strikeforce fighter and he's not going to UFC anytime soon.

8. Clay Guida (29-12)
“The Carpenter” is on the list because he has already been the Strikeforce Lightweight Championship and him and Gilbert Melendez went five rounds and Gilbert won a split-decision and I know that Clay would love that rematch.

9. Jim Miller (20-3)
Jim is the excellent opponent for Gilbert Melendez. Jim is ranked as the #7 Lightweight in the world. He is facing Melvin Guillard at UFC Fight Night 26 on January 20th . The rumors of Jim Miller Vs. Gilbert Melendez was talked about in the MMA world and it looked like a fight that everyone is interested in.

10. BJ Penn (16-8-2)
“The Prodigy” is by far one of the best MMA fighters in the world and I believe that BJ Penn and Gilbert Melendez is a dream match up for any MMA fan. Plus the BJ Penn Vs. Cesar Gracie beef makes this fight that much more intriguing.

Lets be logical about this for a minute, UFC fighters might not want to go over to Strikeforce because they might have to take a pay cut and ZUFFA needs to be smart and send some fighters over from UFC with the same pay if they want Strikeforce to be successful and not end up like PRIDE FC.
